Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Big Solutions LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company doing business as Senior Safety Checks (“we,” “us”). By creating an account you accept them.

Not an emergency service

Senior Safety Checks is not a medical alert or emergency-response service. We do not monitor responses in real time and we never dispatch emergency services. The service sends automated wellness check-ins and notifications. It can fail or be delayed for reasons outside our control (carrier outages, phone issues, etc.) and must not be relied on as a safety-of-life system. In an emergency, call 911.

The service

For $9.99/month after a 14-day free trial, we send one daily SMS check-in to one designated person, record replies, escalate on non-response per your settings, and show the results on your dashboard. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.

Consent

You confirm you have the recipient's permission to enroll them. Check-ins begin only after the recipient replies YES to an opt-in text, and they can stop all messages at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to message anyone without their consent, to harass, or to send anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or its free trial.

Liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
